I am a complete experience and vibe! I am professional, creative, and fun. My pictures
are never short of amazing. My mission, to capture the essence of any family daring to
step in front of my camera. I am that. A unique black, African American queer woman.
Creative in most forms of expression and known as a super dope photographer. My
approach curates an immersive experience connecting community in love, honor and
respect, as one. A family is family as a unit. So, it’s important to me to learn names,
ages, comfys’ and uncomfys’. By the time I meet my clients they swear I’m a long-lost
cousin that they just adore.

I am Nikki B. I build rapport instantly at family gatherings. It’s actually one of my favorite
things to do because I don’t have to do much but listen. The big hair, big smile and
hearty laugh welcomes them. I am safe to many. As a Photographer it’s my
responsibility to create a safe comfortable space for the family to be.

The camera is a weapon that has no blurred lines between what you feel and what you
reflect. Do you know what people mean when they say, “I don’t take pictures”? Excuse
me, but I just met you and I don’t feel comfortable standing in front of you for your eyes
to roam and discover every imperfection I try to hide or ignore. Words Scar. Words of
affirmation help to boost their confidence, spark loving interactions and motivate the
family to simply be their authentic selves. This is when the magic happens; love is
shared, memories emerge, and the family portrait is captured.
